ABOUT THE MUSIC:

BluesStorm plays their own original rockin' blues music, as well as a large repertoire of the classic blues music of such greats as  B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Johnny Winter, Freddie King, John Lee Hooker, John Mayall, Howlin' Wolf, Elmore James, and others. 

ABOUT THE BAND MEMBERS:

Rock'n Rick - Guitar, Vocals, Band Leader

Guitarist and published songwriter, Rick Nashe, a returned Peace Corps volunteer, formerly of Boston, Massachusetts, formed Blues Storm in 2001.  Nashe has performed as a solo artist, as well as, with Taj Mahal and traveled with the legendary "Big" Jay McNeely.  He has also toured with rock, blues, country and bluegrass bands throughout the country.  Rick is also a teacher, writer, and photographer.
 

Sweet Pete - Lead Vocals, Harmonica

Sweet Pete hails from South Florida and relocated to Sin City in 2002.  He has recorded and performed with hard rock acts like Company Kane and Moonshine Radio.   Pete's harmonica skills take a wide range of influences such as JR Wells and Sonny Terry.  His voice has been compared to the likes of Greg Alman & Paul Rodgers.

T-Bird - Bassist

Born in New Castle, PA. Opening show on the "Chitlin' Circuit",  for B.B. King and Average White Band. Settled in Las Vegas in 1988 with soul singer Bernadette, sharing the stage at many venues with Sonny Turner of the Platters. 1992 helped found the Gregg Peterson Band and worked with him in Las Vegas lounges for 10 years. In 2005 started working in Trent Carlini's "Dream King" Elvis Presley Tribute which enjoyed a long run in the Sahara Theatre from December 2006 through March 2008

Dallas - Drums

Peter Dallas hails from many places.  His father was a pilot in the Air Force moving the family from base to base throughout Europe and the U.S.  Eventually settling  in the Sacramento & San Francisco bay area where, as a young lad, Dallas  developed his drumming chops on the top 40 and original circuit, as well as, in original bands.  After moving to L.A. and graduating P.I.T with top honors, he landed a number of high profile gigs and tours which led to work in Austin with some of the best pickers in the country. Now in Las Vegas his solid style, coupled with fresh grooves, have landed him with Blues Storm
